E-learning Specialist

Job Description: The E-learning Specialist will:
  • Create, develop, conduct and facilitate a comprehensive training program on e-learning for teachers. She/he will also assess the training needs of clients and create training intervention for any area of improvements and develop tracking and reporting metrics related to training programs.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate implementation program/s for Quipper’s e-learning solutions for client schools. In connection with this, s/he will also develop templates for implementation programs for different types of schools.
  • Research on best practices for edtech implementation. This includes but is not limited to traveling to client schools, conducting classroom observations, and analyzing edtech usage and making appropriate recommendations.
She/he should have the appropriate academic background; in-depth understanding and knowledge about current trends, standards, and best practices in e-learning; as well as adequate experience in the field of educational technology. Prior experience in integrating Quipper or other e-learning platforms in teaching strategies is a plus.
  • Familiar with the Philippine education system and K-12 Basic Education Curriculum
  • Has experience with Content Management System or Learning Management System

  • Ability to collaborate with the content developers to provide highly effective training and learning materials

  • Consultation skills: work with stakeholders to identify goals, determine metrics, create implementation plans, provide advice and other support
Experience: Total of more than three years of the below will be given preference:
  • With relevant experience in educational technology and designing online learning content
  • With teaching experience (classroom, review center, and/or other informal teaching set-ups)
  • Knowledgeable in educational content (e-learning, textbook, workbook, reference book) for Grades 4-10, Senior High School and/or College
  • Required - Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Distance Learning or similar courses
  • Master's Degree is an advantage
