To make this happen, we are in need of seasoned Educational Content Editors to support our Content Creation Team!
Responsibilities Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Subject Editor will be to follow our style guide in supporting content creation as a subject matter expert, as well as proofreading and editing scripts submitted by writers/presenters so that we can develop high-quality lessons and activities in line with the national curriculum (K-12 curriculum) of the Philippines for Grades 10-11 for the following subjects:

・Oral communication
・Reading and writing
・21st century literature from the Philippines and the world
・Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik sa Wika at Kulturang Filipino
・Pagbasa at Pagsusuri ng Iba’t Ibang Teksto Tungo sa Pananaliksik
・Introduction to the philosophy of the human person
・Understanding culture, society, and politics
・General mathematics (algebra, business math, logic)
・Statistics and probability
・Earth science/geology
・Physics In detail, the Subject Editor will mainly perform the following tasks in the team.

Edit Topics - Edit from 3 angles: plagiarism, system (Does it work with our system?), and content (Does the content cover the learning objective? How is the vocabulary level?). Quality is more important than schedule!
Enter Topics in Q-Create - Enter topics in our content creation system, Q-Create.
Train teachers - For video projects only, develop and direct teachers for quality video lectures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

・It is a must that the candidate is familiar with the educational system and national curriculum (K-12) of the Philippines
・Demonstrable skill in editing lessons and activities for the subject the candidate applied for
・Preferably has experience using a content management system or learning management system
・The ability to manage deadlines and schedules
・A positive, result-oriented mindset
・Good oral and written English communication skills
・Flexible (easily adjusts to sudden changes)
・For English subject editor: Has extensive knowledge in grammar, literature, reading and listening comprehension, written and oral language, and vocabulary development
・For Math subject editor: Has extensive knowledge in basic math, geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and advanced algebra
・For Science subject editor: Has extensive knowledge in earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics
・Familiar with Chicago Manual of Style (16th Edition)
・Willing to learn HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) for English subject editor and MathML or LaTex typesetting systems for math or science subject editor

A total of more than two years of the below is a must.
・Experience in editing educational contents (e-learning, textbooks, workbooks, reference books) for Grades 4-10, Senior High School and/or College
・Teaching experience (classrooms, review centers, and/or other informal teaching set-ups)

Required ・Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in instructional design or educational majors closely related to the subject the candidate applied for
・A Master's Degree is an advantage

Benefits ・Can be a part-time job, but with a minimum of 30 hours per week
・Compensation will be paid per hour
・Will be paid twice per month, on the 15th and 30th of the month
