Penasaran? <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kuy, <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">simak!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Apa Itu Pembelahan Mitosis?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pembelahan mitosis merupakan proses perbanyakan sel yang terjadi di seluruh sel somatik (sel tubuh \u2013 kromosom diploid) dan juga sel gamet (sel kelamin \u2013 kromosom haploid). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pembelahan ini memiliki ciri khas, yaitu sel induk akan membelah menjadi dua sel anakan yang sama persis dengan induknya, termasuk pada jumlah kromosom yang dimiliki. Jika sel induk memiliki kromosom diploid maka sel anaknya juga akan memiliki kromosom diploid. Maka dari itu, peristiwa pembelahan sel pun terjadi di nukleus. Proses pembelahan sel bukan berarti ia menduplikasi seluruh bagian dirinya. Akan tetapi, yang sesungguhnya terjadi adalah hanya DNA yang digandakan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selanjutnya, DNA dibungkus oleh sitoplasma atau cairan sel. Dua kantong DNA terpisah inilah yang akhirnya akan menjadi dua sel baru. Selama interfase, sel mempersiapkan dirinya sebelum benar-benar terbelah menjadi dua. Fase ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. Subfase G-1 (<em>Growth<\/em>-1 atau Pertumbuhan Primer)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada tahapan ini, sel bertumbuh menjadi lebih besar. Beberapa pertumbuhan bagian sel, antara lain:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pembesaran ukuran nukleus;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">penambahan volume sitoplasma;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pembentukan DNA;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pembentukan enzim untuk replikasi DNA;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pembentukan protein melalui proses sintesis protein (transkripsi dan translasi) untuk memacu pembelahan nukleus;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pembentukan benang spindel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subfase G-1 merupakan proses terlama pada interfase, yaitu sekitar 12 \u2013 24 jam.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. Subfase S (Sintesis)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Di tahap sintesis, terjadi replikasi DNA beserta protein histon yang untaiannya disebut sebagai benang kromatin. Proses replikasi benang kromatin ini membentuk kembaran yang bernama kromatid. Kedua kromatid kembar ini terikat pada satu sentromer. Proses sintesis pada tahap ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar 6 hingga 8 jam.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>3. Subfase G-2 (Growth-2 atau Pertumbuhan Sekunder)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada tahap pertumbuhan sekunder, organel-organel sel dan juga RNA terbentuk. Tahapan ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar 3 sampai 4 jam dan merupakan proses terakhir sebelum sel benar-benar siap untuk membelah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kromatin pada fase-fase siklus sel:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DNA rantai ganda<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kromatin (untaian DNA rantai tunggal beserta protein histon)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kromatin pada interfase (biru) beserta sentromer (merah)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kromatin padat selama profase<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kromosom pada metafase<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada akhir interfase, satu sel telah memiliki satu nukleus dengan dua nukleolus (anak inti). Seperti yang telah dijelaskan sebelumnya, di dalam nukleus telah terdapat kromatid, yaitu benang-benang kromatin yang telah terduplikasi. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sementara itu di luar nukleus, sentrosom turut terduplikasi dan nantinya akan membantu proses pemisahan sel pada fase mitosis. Selanjutnya setelah semua persiapan selesai, sel akan masuk ke dalam fase mitosis yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. Profase<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proses yang terjadi pada tahap profase antara lain:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kromosom yang tersusun atas benang-benang kromatin mulai berubah bentuk, yang semula tipis dan panjang akan memendek dan menebal;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nukleolus melebur;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sepasang sentrosom saling menjauh dan masing-masing mendekati kutub sel yang berlawanan kemudian menghasilkan benang-benang spindel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>2. Metafase<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi pada tahap metafase adalah:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">membran inti sel mulai menghilang;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">benang-benang spindel mulai berinteraksi dengan bagian sentromer dari kromosom;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kromosom mulai menempati ekuator pembelahan.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>3. Anafase<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hal paling penting yang terjadi pada tahap anafase adalah sentromer yang menarik kromatid dari setiap kromosom menuju kutubnya masing-masing.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>4.
