Soalnya, remaja perempuan lebih rentan terserang anemia karena harus mengeluarkan darah setiap bulan alias menstruasi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secara sederhana, anemia adalah kondisi di mana jumlah sel darah merah dalam tubuh lebih sedikit dibanding yang seharusnya. Memang, dalam batas apa sih kadar hemoglobin bisa dikatakan sebagai anemia? Jika remaja putri &lt;12 g\/dL dan remaja putra &lt;13g\/dL. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biasanya orang menganggap enteng penyakit yang satu ini, padahal kalau dibiarkan malah akan jadi sangat berbahaya dan mengganggu masa depan. Nah, salah satu zat gizi yang kebutuhannya meningkat adalah zat besi yang dibutuhkan tubuh untuk pembentukan hemoglobin (sel darah merah) dan fungsi enzim.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remaja perempuan membutuhkan lebih banyak zat besi dibanding remaja laki-laki karena saat menstruasi, zat besi turut keluar bersama darah. Karena remaja perempuan lebih banyak butuh zat besi, hal inilah yang membuat remaja perempuan berisiko kekurangan zat besi, yang ujung-ujungnya jadi anemia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain menstruasi, penyebab anemia pun bisa datang dari berbagai faktor. Misalnya rendahnya asupan makanan yang mengandung zat besi dan vitamin C, terkena cacing tambang yang menyerap darah dalam usus, malaria, melakukan diet yang tidak tepat, suka melewatkan waktu makan, atau suka melakukan olahraga berat.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Dampak Anemia pada Usia Remaja Perempuan<\/b><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Memang saat remaja ini dampaknya belum kelihatan, Quipperian. Selain meningkatkan risiko kehamilan komplikasi, kekurangan gizi pun bisa berdampak pada organ tubuh lain seperti pankreas dan hati. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Cara Mencegah Anemia pada Usia Remaja<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Terus, gimana dong cara mencegahnya? Tenang, Quipperian, enggak susah, kok! Berikut langkah-langkah yang bisa kamu lakukan untuk mencegahnya.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Konsumsi makanan dengan zat gizi seimbang, terutama yang kaya protein dan zat besi. Kamu bisa mendapatkan makanan yang kaya akan zat besi dari bahan makanan hewani seperti ikan, daging, ayam, hati, telur lalu sayur-sayuran berwarna hijau tua seperti bayam, kangkung, brokoli, daun katuk, serta kacang-kacangan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Konsumsi makanan yang kaya vitamin C, seperti buah jeruk, jambu biji, pepaya, kiwi, stroberi, dan lain-lain.
