Reaksi kimia adalah reaksi perubahan dari zat pereaksi (reaktan) menjadi zat hasil reaksi (produk). Reaksi kimia terdiri dari reaksi pembakaran, pembentukan, penguraian, dan penetralan. Reaksi-reaksi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh jenis reaktan maupun produknya. Membahas masalah reaksi kimia tidak bisa lepas dari suatu persamaan. Persamaan tersebut menunjukkan hubungan kuantitatif antara reaktan dan produk, sehingga disebut sebagai persamaan reaksi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jika belajar tentang persamaan reaksi, Quipperian akan mengenal istilah koefisien reaksi dan indeks reaksi.
