Benda dianggap sebagai suatu titik materi yang ukurannya bisa diabaikan. Hal itu berlaku jika benda dimasukkan dalam sistem partikel. Itulah mengapa, semua gaya yang bekerja pada benda tersebut hanya dianggap bekerja pada titik materi yang menyebabkan terjadinya gerak translasi (\u2211F = 0)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keseimbangan benda tegar adalah kondisi di mana momentum suatu benda bernilai nol. Gangguan tersebut mengakibatkan posisi benda berubah (pusat gravitasi O naik).
