Penamaan sebuah prisma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ditentukan sesuai <\/span><b>banyaknya n sisi alas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, yaitu <\/span><b>prisma segi n beraturan.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sebuah prisma memiliki ciri-ciri sebagai berikut yaitu :\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Memiliki sisi alas dan tutup yang sebangun dan sejajar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Memiliki sisi tegak yang tegak lurus dengan sisi sejajar.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Penamaan sebuah prisma mengikuti bentuk alasnya terhadap lantai. Bidang-bidang tegaknya adalah ABGF, BCHG, CDIH, DEJI, dan EAFJ yang berbentuk persegi panjang. <\/span><b>Jumlah rusuk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pada prisma segi lima berjumlah <\/span><b>15 buah<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dimana <\/span><b>rusuk tegaknya<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> adalah AF, BG, CH, DI, dan EJ. Adapun <\/span><b>tahapan-tahapan membuat prisma adalah<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sebagai berikut :\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terdapat dua bidang yang sejajar dan kongruen (bentuk dan ukurannya sama) yaitu bidang alas dan bidang tutup.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rusuk-rusuk tegak pada prisma panjangnya sama.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rusuk-rusuk yang tidak terlihat oleh pandangan, digambar dengan garis putus-putus.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berdasarkan ketiga tahapan di atas, marilah Quipperian untuk kita mencoba menggambar sebuah prisma. Misalnya, kita akan membuat sebuah prisma segi enam ABCDEF.GHIJKL,\u00a0 tahapan-tahapannya adalah sebagai berikut :\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gambarkan bidang alas terlebih dahulu, yaitu bidang ABCDEF (gambar (a)). Garis AF, FE, dan ED digambar dengan garis putus-putus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gambar rusuk tegak AG, BH, CI, DJ, EK, dan FL dengan ukuran yang sama panjang (gambar (b)).
