Bagaimana cara menentukan fase-fase bulan? Mengapa Bulan selalu terlihat dari Bumi? Hal itu karena Bulan merupakan satu-satunya satelit alami yang dimiliki oleh Bumi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Itulah mengapa, Bulan juga termasuk salah satu bagian dari sistem Tata Surya. Sebagai satelit, Bulan senantiasa mengorbit Bumi dengan kecepatan tertentu atau biasa disebut revolusi Bulan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tak heran, di manapun dan kapanpun kamu memandangi langit, pasti akan disuguhi dengan penampakan Bulan. Hasil dokumentasi dua astronot tersebut menunjukkan bahwa langit di Bulan terlihat gelap. Cahaya Matahari yang mengenai Bulan tidak membuatnya siang seperti di Bumi. Lantas mengapa bisa demikian, bukannya Bulan terlihat bersinar jika diamati dari Bumi? Untuk tahu, simak karakteristik Bulan berikut ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bulan tidak memiliki atmosfer seperti Bumi. Hal itu mengakibatkan cahaya Matahari tidak bisa dipantulkan ke segala arah layaknya di Bumi. Langit Bumi berwarna biru karena atmosfer akan memantulkan cahaya biru dari Matahari ke segala arah. Itulah mengapa, langit di Bulan terlihat gelap.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bulan hanya berisi ruang hampa. Akibatnya, manusia tidak akan bisa berkomunikasi secara langsung saat berada di Bulan. Namun demikian, sebenarnya bentuk Bulan itu tidak pernah berubah (tetap).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perbedaan bentuk itu diakibatkan oleh adanya revolusi Bulan. Saat berevolusi, Bulan berada di fase-fase tertentu yang mengakibatkan penampakannya dari Bumi selalu berubah. Adapun penjelasan masing-masing fase, yaitu sebagai berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>1. Fase 1<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fase 1 menunjukkan Matahari \u2013 Bulan \u2013 Bumi berada pada satu garis lurus atau biasa disebut konjungsi. Pada fase ini, hanya sedikit sekali bagian Bulan yang terkena cahaya Matahari. Akibatnya, terang Bulan hampir tidak terlihat dari Bumi, sehingga disebut sebagai bulan mati. Sesaat setelah konjungsi, akan terlihat bulan sabit muda yang disebut hilal. Hilal bisa diamati dengan jelas setelah terbenamnya Matahari.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Fase 2<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada fase 2, bulan baru sudah mulai bergerak semakin tinggi di atas horizon. Hal ini mengakibatkan semakin banyak bagian Bulan yang terkena cahaya Matahari. Jika kamu amati dari Bumi, ukuran bulan pasti lebih besar daripada bulan baru. Bulan pada fase ini biasa disebut sebagai bulan sabit (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">waxing crescent moon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>3. Fase 3<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada fase 3, ukuran Bulan terlihat setengah penuh. Fase ini biasa disebut sebagai kuarter pertama (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">first quarter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>4. Fase 4<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada fase 4, ukuran Bulan semakin besar karena pada fase ini bulan hampir menuju purnama. Dalam dunia astronomi, fase 4 ini biasa disebut <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">waxing gibbous moon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>5. Fase 5<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada fase 5, posisi Matahari \u2013 Bumi \u2013 Bulan berada pada satu garis lurus. Kondisi ini disebut sebagai oposisi. Jika pada konjungsi bulan hampir tidak terlihat, maka pada oposisi ini bulan terlihat penuh dari Bumi (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">full moon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Itulah mengapa, Bulan pada fase ini disebut sebagai bulan purnama.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>6. Fase 6<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fase 6 terjadi setelah bulan purnama (gerhana bulan). Akibatnya, bagian bulan yang terkena cahaya Matahari semakin berkurang dan mengecil. Pada fase ini, bentuk bulan sama seperti fase 4. Hanya saja berada di sisi yang berlawanan. Oleh karena itu, fase ini biasa disebut <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">waning gibbous moon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>7. Fase 7<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada fase 7, bulan berada di kuarter ketiga sebelum nantinya kembali menjadi bulan mati. Bentuk bulan pada fase ini sama dengan fase 3 (setengah penuh), tetapi berada di sisi yang berlawanan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>8. Fase 8<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jika bulan berada di fase 8, maka bulan hampir kembali menjadi bulan baru. Artinya, kamu akan sudah berada di penghujung suatu bulan hijriyah, misalnya akhir Ramadhan. Bentuk bulan pada fase ini sama dengan fase 2, hanya saja terjadi di sisi yang berlawanan.
