Hukum tersebut termuat dalam <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">paper<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hasil penelitiannya yang berjudul \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Galvanic Circuit Investigated Mathematically<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada zaman itu, hukum inilah yang berhasil menjelaskan hubungan antara kuat arus listrik dan beda potensial di ujung-ujungnya. Artinya, kenaikan arus listrik sebandingan dengan kenaikan beda potensial. Secara matematis, pernyataan Ohm ini bisa dituliskan sebagai berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-284950\" src=\"https:\/\/quipperhome.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Hukum-Ohm-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"75\" height=\"48\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besarnya kuat arus yang mengalir pada penghantar, ternyata tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh beda potensial. Melainkan ada besaran lain yang mampu menghambat aliran elektron pada penghantar. Besaran itu kemudian disebut sebagai hambatan listrik.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keberadaan hambatan ini mampu memperlambat aliran elektron karena adanya interaksi dengan atom-atom pada penghantar. Oleh karena itu, semakin besar hambatan listriknya, semakin kecil arus yang akan mengalir. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa hambatan listrik berbanding terbalik dengan arus listrik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dari dua kesimpulan yang berhasil ia peroleh, Ohm berhasil merumuskan persamaan berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-284949\" src=\"https:\/\/quipperhome.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Hukum-Ohm-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"146\" height=\"133\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dengan ketentuan sebagai berikut:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">i <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">= kuat arus listrik (A);<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">V<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> = tegangan listrik (volt); dan<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> = hambatan listrik\/resistivitas (Ohm).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Persamaan di atas menunjukkan bahwa jika hambatan listriknya dibuat tetap, maka tegangan listrik akan sebanding dengan arus. Persamaan itulah yang nantinya dikenal sebagai persamaan hukum Ohm. Beberapa bahan sangat peka terhadap kekuatan menghantarkan arus listrik. Seberapa peka suatu bahan bisa menghantarkan arus listrik bergantung seberapa kecil hambatan jenisnya, contohnya saja konduktor. Konduktor merupakan penghantar listrik yang baik karena memiliki hambatan jenis kecil.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Potensiometer<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Di awal artikel kamu sudah dijelaskan tentang potensiometer, ya. Jadi, potensiometer memiliki suatu bagian yang disebut <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wiper<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Kegunaan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wiper<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ini nantinya adalah untuk memilih hambatan agar dihasilkan arus listrik yang sesuai kebutuhan perangkat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contoh potensiometer bisa kamu temukan pada pengatur volume DVD maupun <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tape<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Besar tegangan dibuat bervariasi untuk melihat perbedaan kuat arus listriknya. Untuk itu, tentukan terlebih dahulu dua titik yang tepat dilalui oleh garis pada grafik. Berdasarkan gambar, dua titik tersebut adalah (0,0) dan (0,8;20). Kuat arus listrik ditunjukkan oleh sumbu X, sedangkan tegangan listriknya ditunjukkan oleh sumbu Y.
