Yuk, belajar bareng Quipper Blog.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pengertian-energi-tak-terbarukan\"><b>Pengertian Energi Tak Terbarukan<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Energi tak terbarukan atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">non renewable energy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> adalah energi yang proses pembentukannya membutuhkan waktu sangat lama. Keberadaan energi ini sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, manusia harus sangat bijak dalam memanfaatkannya.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jika tidak bijak dalam memanfaatkannya, manusia akan kesulitan mendapatkan energi serupa karena proses terbentuknya sangat lama. Contohnya adalah batu bara, minyak bumi, dan gas bumi.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sumber-energi-tak-terbarukan\"><b>Sumber Energi Tak Terbarukan<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sumber energi tak terbarukan ada tiga jenisnya. Masing-masing sumber memiliki peran yang cukup penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Adapun contoh energi tak terbarukan adalah sebagai berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-batu-bara\"><b>1. Batu bara<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Siapa <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sih<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> yang tidak kenal batu hitam ini? Batu bara merupakan komoditas ekspor utama Indonesia. Hal itu karena ketersediaan batu bara di Indonesia cukup melimpah.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun, tidak semua tempat di Indonesia memiliki ketersediaan batu bara. Daerah yang menjadi pusat eksplorasi batu bara di Indonesia adalah Pulau Kalimantan. Tak heran, jika banyak berdiri perusahaan tambang batu bara di sana. Lantas, apa itu batu bara?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Batu bara adalah bahan bakar fosil berupa batu galian yang berbentuk sedimen. Sedimen ini merupakan hasil pembusukan tumbuhan ratusan juta tahun lalu yang berlangsung secara biokimia, kimia, dan fisika pada suhu dan tekanan tertentu.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unsur utama di dalam batu bara adalah karbon, hidrogen, oksigen, dan nitrogen. Jenis-jenis batu bara yang ada hingga sekarang adalah sebagai berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antrasit, memiliki kandungan karbon tertinggi.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bituminus, batu bara yang umum ditambang di Australia.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sub-bituminus, memiliki kandungan karbon yang cukup rendah.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lignit, batu bara yang tergolong lunak karena kadar airnya cukup tinggi.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gambur, batu bara berpori karena kadar airnya mencapai 75%.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-minyak-bumi\"><b>2. Minyak bumi<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minyak bumi adalah sumber energi tak terbarukan yang terbentuk melalui hasil pembusukan tumbuhan dan hewan jutaan tahun lalu.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Komponen utama penyusun minyak bumi adalah senyawa hidrokarbon. Negara dengan kandungan minyak bumi terbesar adalah Amerika Serikat dan Arab Saudi. Bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BBM yang biasa kamu beli di SPBU merupakan salah satu hasil olahan minyak bumi. Untuk bisa digunakan sebagai BBM, minyak bumi harus melalui tahap penyulingan hingga terbentuk bahan bakar residu. Nah, bahan bakar residu itu bisa berupa bensin, solar, sampai minyak tanah.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"b-bahan-baku-bangunan\"><b>b. Bahan baku bangunan<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minyak bumi tidak hanya diolah menjadi bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor. Ternyata, beberapa bahan bangunan pun juga berbahan dasar minyak bumi, contohnya cat, pipa, atap rumah (selain genteng), sampai aspal.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c-bahan-baku-beberapa-keperluan-medis\"><b>c. Bahan baku beberapa keperluan medis<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beberapa obat di bidang medis membutuhkan aspirin sebagai bahan bakunya. Nah, aspirin merupakan senyawa kimia yang mengandung hidrokarbon.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Senyawa hidrokarbon merupakan senyawa penyusun minyak bumi. Tidak hanya aspirin, beberapa peralatan medis juga membutuhkan minyak bumi, contohnya produk pembersih serta alat untuk mengamankan tenaga medis.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"d-bahan-baku-produk-kecantikan\"><b>d. Bahan baku produk kecantikan<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Produk kecantikan juga tak luput dari kehadiran minyak bumi. Di bidang kecantikan, minyak bumi biasa digunakan sebagai bahan pembuat cat kuku, cat rambut, serta <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">make up<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dengan adanya kandungan minyak bumi, cat kuku akan terlihat mengilap.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-gas-bumi-atau-gas-alam\"><b>3. Gas bumi atau gas alam<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jika sebelumnya Quipperian sudah belajar tentang minyak bumi, nah kali ini tentang gas bumi. Gas bumi adalah bahan bakar fosil berupa gas yang terbentuk jutaan tahun lalu akibat pembusukan tumbuhan dan hewan purba.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hasil pembusukan itu akan menghasilkan zat-zat organik yang terperangkap di sela-sela batuan serta laut. Komponen utama penyusun gas bumi adalah metana (CH<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adapun manfaat (energi tak terbarukan) gas bumi adalah sebagai berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-sebagai-bahan-bakar-pembangkit-listrik\"><b>a. Sebagai bahan bakar pembangkit listrik<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gas bumi bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bakar PLTG (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas). Pembangkit listrik termasuk salah satu pembangkit listrik yang ramah lingkungan.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"b-bahan-baku-pembuat-pupuk\"><b>b. Bahan baku pembuat pupuk<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gas bumi juga digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan pupuk. Namun, penggunaannya harus sesuai anjuran agar tidak sampai merusak lingkungan.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"c-bahan-bakar-memasak\"><b>c. Bahan bakar memasak<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LPG merupakan salah satu bahan bakar untuk memasak pengganti minyak tanah yang dipakai oleh ibu-ibu rumah tangga. LPG bisa digunakan jika disambungkan dengan kompor gas. LPG yang umum dijual berukuran 3 kg dengan tabung berwarna hijau. Gas ini memiliki bau yang cukup menyengat.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"d-bahan-bakar-industri-pengolahan-kertas\"><b>d. Bahan bakar industri pengolahan kertas<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pada industri pengolahan kertas, gas bumi tidak digunakan sebagai bahan baku tetapi sebagai bahan bakar mesin pembuatnya. Melalui pemanfaatan ini diharapkan industri pembuatan kertas bisa lebih ramah lingkungan.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"e-bahan-baku-industri\"><b>e. Bahan baku industri<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gas bumi juga dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku di beberapa industri, contohnya industri pembuatan plastik, pengolahan besi baja, dan produksi alat pemadam kebakaran.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ternyata di balik pro dan kontra penggunaannya, energi tak terbarukan memberikan manfaat yang cukup besar bagi manusia.
