Lantas, apa itu tekanan hidrostatis?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pengertian Tekanan Hidrostatis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tekanan hidrostatis adalah tekanan yang disebabkan oleh kedalaman zat cair. Berdasarkan konsep tekanan di mana tekanan berbanding lurus dengan gaya, sehingga semakin dalam posisi zat cair, semakin besar gaya beratnya.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oleh sebab itu, semakin dalam posisi zat cair, semakin besar tekanan yang dihasilkan. Selain kedalaman, tekanan hidrostatis juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Massa jenis<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Massa jenis merupakan besarnya massa benda tiap satuan volume. Semakin besar massa jenis suatu zat cair, semakin besar pula tekanan hidrostatis yang dihasilkan.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Misalnya kamu memiliki dua jenis zat cair, yaitu air dan minyak. Oleh karena massa jenis air lebih besar daripada massa jenis minyak, maka tekanan hidrostatis yang dihasilkan oleh air lebih besar daripada minyak.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Percepatan gravitasi<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Percepatan gravitasi erat kaitannya dengan titik berat suatu benda. Misalnya kamu meletakkan suatu benda di dalam zat cair, lalu zat cair berisi benda tersebut dibawa ke luar angkasa.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tekanan hidrostatis yang dirasakan benda saat di Bumi pasti lebih besar daripada di luar angkasa. Hal itu karena di luar angkasa tidak memiliki percepatan gravitasi.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Ketinggian zat cair<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Semakin banyak volume zat cair, semakin besar tekanan dihasilkan. Hal itu bisa dilihat saat kamu hendak menguras kolam. Jika air kolamnya masih penuh lalu kamu buka kran pembuangannya, pasti pancaran airnya cukup kuat dan jauh. Bejana berhubungan adalah kumpulan bejana yang saling terhubung bagian bawahnya dengan bagian atasnya dibiarkan terbuka.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jika bejana tersebut diisi oleh satu jenis zat cair, maka bagian permukaan zat cair di dalamnya akan terletak pada satu bidang datar yang sama. Hal itu berlaku untuk semua bentuk bejana berhubungan. Jika bejana diisi oleh dua zat cair yang berbeda massa jenisnya, maka ketinggian zat cairnya tidak sama. Zat cair dengan massa jenis lebih kecil akan berada di atas. Pembuatan bendungan<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pernahkah kamu melihat struktur bendungan? Jika diperhatikan, bendungan selalu didesain lebih tebal bagian bawahnya. Pembuatan kapal selam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kapal selam didesain sedemikian sehingga mampu menyelam hingga kedalaman 250 m di bawah permukaan air laut. Keamanan para awak kapalnya juga harus diperhatikan karena semakin dalam posisi kapal dari permukaan, semakin besar tekanan yang dirasakan. Jika kapal selam menyelam di kedalaman lebih dari 250 m, kapal tersebut bisa pecah dan membahayakan awak kapalnya.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Dispenser air<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kran tempat keluarnya air pada dispenser selalu terletak di bagian bawah. Hal itu karena tekanan hidrostatis terbesar berada di bagian bawah dispenser. Teko air<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teko air memanfaatkan prinsip bejana berhubungan di mana lubang tempat keluarnya air harus lebih tinggi daripada tutup tekonya.
