Yuk, simak selengkapnya!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pengertian Konfigurasi Elektron<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Konfigurasi elektron adalah susunan elektron di dalam atom. Sejatinya, elektron merupakan partikel bermuatan negatif yang berputar mengitari inti atom. Gambaran mudahnya, inti atom dianalogikan sebagai Matahari. Nah, elektron dianalogikan sebagai planet-planet yang berputar mengelilingi Matahari tersebut.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jenis-Jenis Konfigurasi Elektron<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Konfigurasi elektron dibagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu sebagai berikut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Konfigurasi elektron kulit (Bohr)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Konfigurasi elektron kulit ditemukan oleh Niels Bohr. Itulah mengapa, konfigurasi ini juga disebut sebagai konfigurasi elektron Bohr. Menurut Bohr, elektron akan berputar mengelilingi inti pada lintasan tertentu dengan tingkat energi yang berbeda-beda, bergantung pada posisi lintasannya. Selanjutnya, lintasan tersebut dikenal sebagai kulit atom. Berdasarkan teori ini, elektron harus diisikan dari tingkat energi paling rendah, yaitu kulit K (<em>n<\/em> = 1) dan dilanjutkan kulit L (<em>n<\/em> = 2), M (<em>n<\/em> = 3), N (<em>n<\/em> = 4), dan seterusnya. Banyaknya elektron yang mengisi setiap kulit mengikuti rumus 2<em>n<\/em><sup>2<\/sup>. Konfigurasi ini menekankan pada kebolehjadian ditemukan elektron pada tingkat subkulit atom. Di tingkat subkulit, terdapat orbital yaitu tempat yang mungkin ditempati oleh elektron. Orbital dibagi menjadi empat, yaitu orbital s, p, d, dan f. Konfigurasi subkulit ini melibatkan empat bilangan kuantum, yaitu sebagai berikut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bilangan kuantum utama (<em>n<\/em>)<br>Bilangan kuantum utama merupakan penggambaran dari lintasan elektron atau menunjukkan tingkat energi elektron (kulit). Bilangan kuantum utama dimulai dari <em>n<\/em> = 1 (kulit K), <em>n<\/em> = 2 (kulit L), <em>n<\/em> = 3 (kulit M), <em>n<\/em> = 4 (kulit N), dan seterusnya.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Bilangan kuantum azimuth (<em>l<\/em>)<br>Bilangan kuantum azimuth merupakan bilangan yang menunjukkan jenis orbital di dalam subkulit. Bilangan kuantum azimuth dimulai dari <em>l<\/em> = 0 (subkulit s), <em>l<\/em> = 1 (subkulit p), <em>l<\/em> = 2 (subkulit d), dan <em>l<\/em> = 3 (subkulit f).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Bilangan kuantum magnetik (<em>m<\/em>)<br>Bilangan kuantum magnetik merupakan bilangan kuantum yang menyatakan posisi orbital di dalam subkulit. Adapun contoh bilangan kuantum magnetik adalah sebagai berikut.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>m<\/em> = 0 (0) \ud83e\udc6a subkulit s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>m <\/em>= 1 (-1, 0, 1) \ud83e\udc6a subkulit p<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>m = <\/em>2 (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2) \ud83e\udc6a subkulit d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>m<\/em> = 3 (-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3) \ud83e\udc6a subkulit f<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Bilangan kuantum spin (<em>s<\/em>)<br>Merupakan bilangan yang menyatakan posisi elektron di dalam orbital. Jika posisi elektron menghadap ke atas (searah putaran jarum jam), maka dinyatakan sebagai <em>s<\/em> = +12. Setiap subkulit memiliki batas maksimal elektron yang harus diisikan, yaitu seperti pada pembahasan sebelumnya. Adapun aturan konfigurasi aufbau adalah sebagai berikut.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gambar di atas menunjukkan bahwa pengisian diawali dari 1s<sup>2<\/sup>, dilanjutkan 2s<sup>2<\/sup>, 2p<sup>6<\/sup>, 3s<sup>2<\/sup>, dan seterusnya. Orbital s memiliki pangkat maksimal 2 karena mengacu pada batas elektron maksimalnya, orbital p memiliki pangkat maksimal 6 karena mengacu pada batas elektron maksimalnya, dan seterusnya. Perhatikan contoh berikut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tentukan konfigurasi elektron 17Cl!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pembahasan:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sub>17<\/sub>Cl = 1s<sup>2<\/sup> 2s<sup>2<\/sup> 2p<sup>6<\/sup> 3s<sup>2<\/sup> 3p<sup>5<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Larangan Pauli<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Larangan Pauli ditemukan oleh seorang ilmuwan asal Austria, yaitu Wolfgang Pauli. Larangan ini menyatakan bahwa dalam satu atom, tidak ada elektron yang memiliki bilangan kuantum sama. Jika dua elektron berada di orbital yang sama, pasti spin keduanya berbeda. Setelah semua orbital berisi penuh elektron yang tidak berpasangan, barulah diisi elektron lain dengan spin yang berbeda arah, sehingga membentuk pasangan elektron. Contohnya terjadi pada unsur <sub>24<\/sub>Cr berikut ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sub>24<\/sub>Cr = 1s<sup>2<\/sup> 2s<sup>2<\/sup> 2p<sup>6<\/sup> 3s<sup>2<\/sup> 3p<sup>6 <\/sup>4s<sup>2<\/sup> 3d<sup>4<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jika dikonfigurasi seperti contoh di atas, unsur <sub>24<\/sub>Cr bersifat kurang stabil. Unsur tersebut akan stabil jika orbital d terisi setengah penuh, yaitu 5 (orbital d akan terisi penuh maksimal 10 elektron). Golongan unsur gas mulia terdiri dari He (helium), Ne (neon), Ar (argon), Kr (kripton), Xe (xenon), dan Rn (radon).
