Contoh mudahnya, daya listrik di rumahmu 900 watt, lalu kamu membeli kompor induksi yang dayanya 1.300 watt. Kira-kira, apa yang akan terjadi? Rumus ini berkaitan dengan cara menghitung tagihan listrik setiap bulan berdasarkan lamanya pemakaian alat-alat elektronik. Adapun rumus yang dimaksud adalah sebagai berikut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tagihan listrik tiap bulan = total kWh \u00d7 tarif\/kWh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dengan kWh (kilowatt hours) merupakan total energi yang digunakan setiap bulan. Secara matematis, rumus kWh adalah kW \u00d7 total jam pemakaian setiap bulan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Satuan Daya Listrik<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jika mengacu pada persamaan di atas, daya listrik memiliki satuan lebih dari satu. Meskipun lebih dari satu, namun tidak mengubah nilai besarannya. Lalu, apa saja satuan daya listrik?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Watt<br>Watt adalah satuan internasional (SI) untuk daya listrik. Satuan ini diambil dari nama penemunya, yaitu James Watt.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Joule\/s<br>Daya listrik merupakan hasil pembagian antara energi listrik yang bersatuan Joule dan waktu yang bersatuan sekon. Sebelum membeli perangkat elektronik, kamu harus memastikan dahulu spesifikasi daya listrik pada perangkat tersebut dengan daya listrik di rumahmu. Semakin banyak perangkat elektronik yang digunakan, semakin besar pula daya listrik yang dibutuhkan. Artinya, semakin besar energi yang diserap.
