Yuk, simak selengkapnya!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pengertian Modulus Elastisitas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Modulus elastisitas adalah ukuran kuantitatif yang menunjukkan tingkat ketahanan suatu bahan untuk berdeformasi saat mendapatkan gaya dari luar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deformasi yang dimaksud meliputi perubahan bentuk benda. Semakin besar modulus elastisitas bahan, semakin kecil kemungkinan bahan untuk berdeformasi. Sebaliknya, semakin kecil modulus elastisitas bahan, semakin mudah bahan untuk berdeformasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contohnya, saat karet kamu tarik, pasti karet akan mudah meregang. Berbeda halnya dengan kawat. Lalu, apa perbedaan antara ketiganya?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tegangan (Stress)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tegangan adalah besarnya gaya yang bekerja pada bahan tiap satuan luas<\/strong>. Semakin kecil luas penampang bahan, semakin besar tegangan yang akan dihasilkan. Sebaliknya, semakin besar luas penampang bahan, semakin kecil tegangan yang akan dihasilkan. Semakin besar strain suatu bahan, semakin mudah bahan tersebut untuk bertambah panjang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sebaliknya, semakin kecil nilai strain suatu bahan, semakin sulit suatu bahan untuk bertambah panjang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contohnya strain karet lebih besar daripada pegas karena saat dikenai gaya, karet lebih mudah untuk bertambah panjang. Sementara bahan yang memiliki modulus Young terkecil adalah karet.
