Showing compassion and demonstrating “Bayanihan” culture, Quipper Philippines went to Batangas on January 21, 2020, Tuesday, to extend aid and provide relief good donations to the evacuees affected by the recent Taal Volcano eruption which happened last January 12, 2020, Sunday. Spearheaded by Mr. Roy Lanzaderas, Manager of Finance and People Operations Team, this joint outreach activity was made possible with the help of Ping Ping’s Lechon and Bukluran Outdoor Club, coordinated by Mr. Rizalde Reynoso, IT Analyst of Customer Success Team.

A total of five evacuation areas in Lipa City and Tanauan City were visited by Quipper PH staff, and about 1,000 evacuees were provided with relief goods. Some of the donations given were dry goods, drinking water, and hygiene kits; food sponsored by Ping Ping’s Lechon was also served for everyone to enjoy. As part of their corporate social responsibility, this small act of charity is Quipper’s simple way of lending a helping hand and boosting the morale of our fellow Batanguenos.
